The Georgia Department of Labor will be helping Teamtemps, a staffing company, recruit for worldwide manufacturer Jacuzzi Whirlpool Bath. Jacuzzi is hiring about 25 employees to work in Valdosta.  

The recruitment will be held on Wednesday, July 27, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Valdosta Career Center located at 221 South Ashley Street.

The employer is recruiting assembly workers, chop operators, chop service, distribution/forklift, fiberglass, finishers, packaging, patch and polish, rollers, and specialty assembly workers, along with vacuum operators.  

All positions are long-term and temporary-to-hire. The day shifts will start between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, all employees must be at least 18 years old. While it is not required, related fiberglass and construction experience is preferred.

Salaries range from $9.50 to $10.25 an hour. All new employees will be eligible for medical benefits and paid holidays. Permanent Jacuzzi employees are eligible for additional benefits, including 401k and paid vacations.
