June 21 | City Cuts Ribbon on CDBG Reconstructed Brookwood Drive Home
The City of Valdosta will host a ribbon-cutting on Tuesday, June 21, at 10:30 a.m., for a newly reconstructed home on 607 E. Brookwood Drive, located in one of the city's Designated Revitalization Areas. The reconstructed home was built utilizing Community Development Block Grant funding. Read more.
 
June 23 | Valdosta City Council Meets
A City Council meeting will be held on Thursday, at 5:30 p.m., in the second-floor Valdosta City Hall Council Chambers, located at 216 E. Central Avenue. This meeting is open to the general public. View agenda.
 
June 24 | Workcamp Homeowners Orientation
A Homeowners Orientation for the 2016 Southern Hospitality Workcamp will take place on Friday, June 24, at 5:30 p.m.  The event allows Workcamp staff to meet and inform the 19 participating Valdosta homeowners on what will take place during the June 27-July 1 Workcamp week. Read more.
 
June 25 | Farm Days in Downtown Valdosta
The Downtown Valdosta Farm Days continues on Saturday, June 25. The popular farmers market takes place on the sidewalks around the historic Lowndes County Courthouse, in downtown Valdosta, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., on selected Saturdays each month through September 17.
