The Chamber Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting for Walmart Supercenter on Norman Drive to celebrate their re-grand opening.

Walmart Supercenter has been newly remodeled to capture a sharp, new look to improve each customer’s shopping time and to add emphasis to what they have to offer. Walmart takes pride in being able to help people save money so they can live better.

In addition to their updates, Walmart also launched a new app, Walmart Pay, allowing customers to pay for products with their phones.

“We love the excitement of seeing customers having a pleasant shopping experience,” said Jennifer Calhoun, Store Manager.

Aside from being named the #1 retailer in the world, Walmart gives an excess of over $20,000 to the local community and provides over 300 jobs in the Valdosta area alone.
