PSST! Presents Silver Steins and Stems Fundraiser May 18th

Peach State Summer Theatre will host Silver Steins and Stems, a beer and wine tasting event, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, May 16, at Friends Grille + Bar. Proceeds will benefit the professional summer stock theatre program.
 
Tickets are $25 per person or $40 per couple and may be purchased by contacting the following PSST! board members via email: Brittney Foster Hull ([email protected]), Justin Martin ([email protected]), Chuck Roberts ([email protected]), and Brad Soshnik ([email protected]). Checks should be made payable to VSU Foundation, with PSST! noted in the memo line.
 
Wine, beer, and food pairings will be provided by Friends Grille + Bar and Smitty’s.
 
Friends Grille + Bar is located in Summit Pointe, at 3338-B Country Club Road.
 
The 2016 Peach State Summer Theatre season kicks off on Friday, June 3; runs through Sunday, July 17; and features Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast,” “Ring of Fire,” and “Nice Work If You Can Get It.” All shows will be performed at Valdosta State University’s Sawyer Theatre.
 
Season memberships are available for the 2016 Peach State Summer Theatre season and may be purchased online by visiting the box office link at www.valdosta.edu/psst through Friday, June 3. The cost is $89.67 for adults and $73.62 for students and senior citizens, including taxes and fees. Each season membership includes three admissions to be used as desired by the member with advance reservations.
 
Patronages are also available at a variety of levels.
 
All 2016 Peach State Summer Theatre season membership holders and patrons will be able to reserve priority seating May 16-18, before the PSST! Box Office opens to the public. Season membership holders are encouraged to take advantage of this exclusive opportunity by contacting the PSST! Box Office by phone at (229) 259-7770 or in person on the first floor of the VSU Fine Arts Building, located at the intersection of Brookwood Drive and Oak Street, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. No tickets will be sold at the PSST! Box Office during this time period, but they will continue to be available online.    
 
The PSST! Box Office will open to the public on Thursday, May 19. Single tickets are $31.28 for adults and $25.93 for students and senior citizens, including taxes and fees.
