AT&T provided an unrestricted gift of $3000 to the Wiregrass Georgia Technical College Foundation South to support ongoing workforce education at the College. This gift is one of a series of donations that AT&T has generously offered to the Foundation over the years.
Courtney Brinson, Regional Director of External Affairs at AT&T, presented the gift to Dr. Tina Anderson, President of Wiregrass, and Dr. Penelope Schmidt, Executive Director for Wiregrass Foundation South, on April 12, 2016. Brinson said, “AT&T is proud to be able to continue its longstanding investment in education at Wiregrass. Their tradition of excellence in education and workforce development is something that we are all very proud of.”
The donation from AT&T is unrestricted, meaning the gift is available for use as needed to support the Foundation’s mission of providing funds for programs and students of the College. The Foundation trustees, college faculty and staff, and students are greatly appreciative of AT&T’s continued support.
