Mar. 1 | ZBOA Meets. The Valdosta-Lowndes County Zoning Board of Appeals will hold its monthly meeting at 2:30 p.m., in City Hall Annex Multi-Purpose Room. The ZBOA hears all variance requests and appeals regarding staff interpretations of the City of Valdosta Land Development Regulations. Mar. 5 | Essay Contest Deadline Draws Near. Mayor John Gayle and the Valdosta Youth Council encourage all local 6th grade students to participate in the “If I Were Mayor, I Would…” essay contest. Learn the details about the contest, which is open to all 6th graders in public, private or home schools throughout our community. Deadline to apply is Friday.
