U.S. News and World Report has previously named VSU’s program among the best in the nation through its reputation-based Best Graduate Schools rankings.
"This national ranking makes us very proud about our program,” Miah explained. “It gives us renewed confidence in the quality of our program and also creates public confidence in VSU’s social work program. This was possible because of our highly qualified faculty and their dedication. I know our students, faculty, staff, and numerous alums were delighted when they heard the news. I personally feel very gratified to be a part of such a prestigious program that has received high national acclamation."
