The Chamber Ambassadors awarded Leading Business of the Week to Renasant Bank. Renasant, which stands for constant renaissance, is well known for its community involvement and development.
 
“I think it’s important as a member of the community, as a business member especially, to reinvest their profits back into the community,” said bank president Terry Bennett.
 
Renasant Bank is a member of the elite group of twelve Chamber members designated as the Chairman’s Circle.  Members since 2010, Renasant took on the sponsorship of the Inaugural Chamber Annual Awards Dinner to recognize outstanding leaders in our business community.
 
“The Chamber is a great partner for us here at the bank.  I think if you look at any business in town, the Chamber plays a huge role in being an advocate for any business in our community,” said Bennett.
 
The Chamber’s mission is to advocate for businesses in our community, no matter their membership status, but the Chamber is always grateful when a member, like Renasant Bank, comes alongside them as a partner.  Through these business community partnerships, the Chamber is able to not only advocate for businesses, but also to help them grow.
