The Georgia Department of Labor’s Valdosta Career Center will host a job fair featuring more than 20 employers Thursday, Jan. 21. The job fair is being sponsored by the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency and the Georgia High School/High Tech program. High school students are encouraged to attend.

The job fair will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the career center located at 221 South Ashley St. in Valdosta.

Among the employers registered to participate are Adolescent & School Health, City of Valdosta, Florida Department of Corrections, Georgia Military College, Goodwill Industries, Hester & Morris Orthodontics, Jacobs Ladder Therapeutic, Lowe’s Distribution Centers, Mount Olive ODBGT, New Hire Solutions, Paxen Learning Services, Sam’s Club, Southern Regional Technical College, Telamon Corporation, U.S. Air Force, Valdosta Fire Department, Valdosta Police Department, Valdosta State University, Wendy’s-Lake Park, WHLJ-Advertising, Wild Adventures and Wiregrass Technical College.  

Employers who would like to participate still have time to register.
