South Georgia Medical Center announces that Jessica Musgrove has been named Associate Inpatient Director of 4W and 4 Medical.  Musgrove will be responsible for the operations of floors 4W, which is a Medical-Surgical unit, and 4 Medical, an observation unit.  These units provide 24-hour care, 7-days a week. Musgrove wants to ensure the delivery of quality patient care through proper implementation of the nursing process for all age groups served in the units.

As associate inpatient director, Musgrove hopes to maintain an atmosphere in which SGMC’s mission, vision, values, code of conduct, goals, policies and standards are consistently met. “My goal is to lead and develop others individually and as a team, and to be an effective team member to ensure our patients get the best treatment they could possibly receive. I want to make a difference within the community, and work with all departments to develop a positive, productive work environment with as little wait time as possible,” she says.

Musgrove graduated in May 2009 from South Georgia State College in Douglas, GA with an Associate of Registered Nursing degree. She resides in Homerville, GA with her husband Robert and their two children Lyndsey and Lacey.  They are members of Trinity Baptist Church.
