Nov. 3: Election Day-LAST DAY to vote. All registered voters who did not vote during Early Voting are urged to do so on Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., at their assigned precincts. To find out where your precinct is located, visit your MVP page at www.sos.ga.gov or call the Board of Elections at (229) 671-2850.
Nov. 3: ZBOA Meets. The Valdosta-Lowndes County Zoning Board of Appeals will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 2:30 p.m., in City Hall Annex Multi-Purpose Room. The ZBOA hears all variance requests and appeals regarding staff interpretations of the City of Valdosta Land Development Regulations. Nov. 3: CVDA Rescheduled Meeting. The Nov. 10 meeting of the Central Valdosta Development Authority Board of Directors has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 5 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Planning and Zoning Conference Room, at the City Hall Annex, located at 300 N. Nov. 3: CDBG Advisory Committee Meets. The Community Development Block Grant Citizens Advisory Committee will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 5:30 p.m. in the Valdosta City Hall Annex Multi-Purpose Room. For additional information, call the Neighborhood Development Division at (229) 671-3617.
Nov. 3: Valdosta City Council Meets for Work Session. The Mayor and City Council will meet for a work session on Tuesday, beginning at 5:30 p.m., which allows council members to spend an adequate amount of time discussing agenda items. The meeting is open to the general public and is held in the second floor Council Chambers of City Hall, at 216 E. Central Avenue.
Nov. 5: Public Hearing at Noon-Adoption of Tax Millage Rate. The second of three public hearings for the adoption of the tax millage rate for the City of Valdosta will be held on Thursday, Nov. 5, at 12 p.m., at Valdosta City Hall, in the 2nd Floor Council Chambers.

Nov. 5: Valdosta City Council Meets. The Mayor and City Council will meet this Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers for their regularly scheduled City Council meeting. The meeting is open to the general public and includes an Employee of the Month Award presentation and the appointments to several city board and authority positions, among other city business. Nov. 6: Public Art Unveiled. The Turner Center for the Arts invites you to two public art unveilings on Friday, Nov. 6, at 5:30 p.m., in downtown Valdosta.
