Ed Crane Left Huge Impact on Valdosta

Ed Crane loomed large across the landscape of South Georgia and arguably the world.
He was the co-owner of South Georgia Pecan, the second-largest pecan-shelling company in the nation.
Crane was not only known as a generous philanthropist to causes and the arts throughout Valdosta and Lowndes County, but he had a gift for convincing others to donate, too.
