Sept. 21: KLVB Board Meets. If you've ever wanted to be more involved with the beautification efforts of our area, consider attending the Keep Lowndes-Valdosta Beautiful regularly scheduled meetings on the third Monday of each month, at 5:30 p.m., in the Valdosta City Hall Annex Multi-Purpose Room. KLVB is also looking for volunteers for the Oct. 3 Rivers Alive Clean Up and the Oct. 24 Make a Difference Day. Sept. 23: VLPRA Board Meets. The Valdosta-Lowndes County Parks & Recreation Authority (VLPRA) Board will meet on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 4:30 p.m. The meeting will be at VLPRA's Administration Office located at 1901 North Forrest Street. For more information, call (229) 259-3507.
