Just three days into the start of the fall semester, students from across campus were given the opportunity to connect with 19 area employers during The Encounter, a part-time jobs and internships career day event hosted by Valdosta State University’s Office of Career Opportunities on Aug. 19. The Office of Career Opportunities provides career development and awareness, experiential learning, cooperative education, and professional employment opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students and alumni.  Its staff collaborates with employer and community partners to develop the employment potential of VSU’s students and graduates, as well as utilize their innovative, intellectual talents.
