The Valdosta-Lowndes Section of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc. recently inducted members for the 2015-2016 fiscal year.  Members participated in an induction and learned more about the section, its vision and its goals for the future.  Second Vice President Victoria Copelenad introduced the members to the executive board and encouraged them to ask questions and participate as much as possible.  1st Vice President, Tiffany Vinson informed the members of the committees that the section has and its plans for the upcoming year.  Members vary from Valdosta, Hahira, Quitman, Morven, Lake Park, Morven and Madison Florida.  The section now has eighty eight active members and is only in it’s four and half years of being chartered.  Prospective members can join the section each year from March 1st through May 31st and the motto of the organization is, Leave No One Behind and opened to anyone to join during opened enrollment.
