On August 3, 2015 Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber recognized Azalea City Bonding Company as “Leading Business of the Week”. Azalea City Bonding Company is not your average bonding bureau, the business also shares its space with limousine services. This loyal member has been with the chamber since 1990 and has had many major accomplishments.

The family owned company, located at 302 Tucker Road, has been in business for 28 years. Azalea City Bonding Company provides bail bond services that could help save tax payers dollars.

The owner of Azalea City Bonding Company is the only Master Certified Bail Agent in the area, the oldest African American Bonding Company in the area, and has been a National Board Certified Agency since 2009.
The company provides two yearly scholarships. One is presented to a high school graduating senior of Valdosta High School valued at $2,000. The other scholarship is an endowed scholarship presented to a junior or senior with a minor in African American Studies at Valdosta State University. The scholarships are given in honor of the founder, Claydon Hayward Barron.
