AT&T awarded $7,500 to support the mission of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Lowndes County, Inc. (CAC). The funds will allow the agency to continue providing quality child abuse and prevention services to children in Lowndes and surrounding counties. Additionally, the organization will be able to upgrade communications and operative technology necessary to fulfill its mission. In addition to CAC board members and CAC staff, Senator Ellis Black stopped by to extend his support of the CAC, as well as their gratitude to AT&T for giving so generously to the CAC and in turn, to the children of the community.

“In today’s fast-paced world, technology is a vital component to the success of nonprofit organizations,” said Courtney Brinson, AT&T Regional Manager for External and Legislative Affairs. “Personally seeing the benefits of technology being used at organizations such as The Children’s Advocacy Center of Lowndes County demonstrates the increased need to support such efforts. AT&T is pleased to be able to assist in this way.”
