LAMP Seeking Teams for Second Annual Clay Shoot
Press release from the issuing company
Monday, April 13th, 2015
Lowndes Associated Ministries to People is seeking teams for their second annual sporting clay tournament on May 2 at Southwind Sporting Clays. Proceeds raised through the clay shoot will benefit LAMP, Valdosta-Lowndes County's emergency shelter and temporary housing facility for our area's homeless.
Last year's inaugural LAMP Clay Shoot hosted 28 teams, Southwind's largest turnout for a first-time event, and raised over $12,000 for the non-profit organization. LAMP is hoping to build off of last year's success and see even more participation from the local community.
Teams of five can participate for $500, which includes breakfast, lunch, an event bag with t-shirt, and their company or team name on a station sign and the event t-shirt. First, second, and third place individuals and teams will receive recognition and prizes. The clay shoot also includes a friendly competition amongst local financial institutions, with the winning team receiving a trophy and bragging rights until the next year's tournament.
If you or your organization are interested in participating, please contact LAMP Executive Director, Sam McCord, at 229-300-0649 or email [email protected]. More information can be found on the LAMP website at lampinc.org.
