Valdosta Events This Week
Press release from the issuing company
Tuesday, March 17th, 2015
THANK YOU to all citizens who visited the City of Valdosta Information Booth at the Azalea Festival on March 14-15! Staff met with thousands of people at the event, signed up dozens for E-news, handed out a variety of information about services and upcoming events, gave out larvicide tablets, accepted job applications, and more. A big round of applause to Aaron Strickland and his Azalea Festival committee who coordinated a very successful event for our citizens and visitors.
March 16-22 is National Fix a Leak Week. Leaks can account for an average of 10,000 gallons of water wasted in homes every year-that's enough to wash 270 loads of laundry! "Fix a Leak Week" is a time to remind Valdostans to check their household fixtures and irrigation systems for potentially costly leaks. Click here for some helpful tips.
