Record Breaking Attendance at TAG’s 2015 Georgia Technology Summit

The Technology Association of Georgia, announced today that more than 1300 attendees participated at its 2015 Georgia Technology Summit. The annual event, which was held Wednesday, March 25th at the Cobb Galleria, is one of largest statewide gatherings of technology companies and professionals in the nation.
"Once again, the Georgia Technology Summit was a huge hit. It was great to see a record number of people come together to celebrate innovation in Georgia," said John Trainor, Chief Information Officer of Aaron's, Inc. and 2015 Georgia Technology Summit Chair. "I'm in awe of how many great people are part of our technology community and how well the team at TAG does to advance Georgia's place as a top technology state."
This year’s Summit featured keynote speakers Jim Chen with Tesla, John Rossman, author “The Amazon Way” and Hal Gregersen with MIT. The state’s Top 40 and Top 10 Innovative Technology Companies were recognized and Alan Dabbiere, Chairman of AirWatch, was inducted into the Technology Hall of Fame of Georgia at the event.
TAG also unveiled the State of the Industry: Technology in Georgia Report which provides facts, statistics, trends and other insights about the state’s growing technology sector.
“An advancing innovation economy requires technology growth, “said Tino Mantella, TAG President and CEO. “According to our report, Georgia’s technology sector has grown by more than 10 percent and has added more than 25,000 net new Jobs.”
