Southeastern Credit Union has hired South Georgia native Joy Walker as a Commercial Lender based out of the Credit Union's Tifton office. Walker brings more than 16 years of experience in commercial, mortgage, and consumer lending to Southeastern.

"We're excited to welcome Joy Walker to the Southeastern Commercial Lending team," says Stephen Sainz, Southeastern's VP of Business Services. "She brings a wealth of lending experience and a drive to serve our current and future business clients in the Tifton and Valdosta markets."

Walker is a graduate of Valdosta State University and Colquitt County High School. She serves as the secretary of the Brooks County High Booster Club and is a past treasurer of the Camilla City Service League. Joy and her husband, Danny Walker, reside in Brooks County where they have a son who attends Brooks County High School.
