Lowndes Co. Hotels, Motels Becoming More Expensive

It will soon be more expensive to stay in a hotel in unincorporated areas of Lowndes County.
County commissioners approved raising the county's hotel-motel tax from 5% to 7% effective July 1st, 2015.
