Wiregrass Georgia Technical College President Tina K. Anderson announces the promotion of Angela Hobby to Vice President of Enrollment Management and Jarrod Brogdon to Chief Information Officer for Wiregrass Georgia Technical College.

Hobby’s most recent position with the college was Executive Director for Community and College Relations.  Other positions she has held with Wiregrass and Valdosta Technical College include; Executive Director for Public Relations and Information, Marketing Director, and Customized Training Coordinator. Angela has a Bachelor of Computer Business Administration in Marketing from Valdosta State University, and her Masters of Business Administration from Valdosta State University. In her role as the Vice President of Enrollment Management she will manage the functions of the student services offices including admissions, financial aid, testing, registrar, student support services, and career services as well as the enrollment efforts of the college through marketing, recruitment initiatives and high school services for all Wiregrass Campuses.

Before being named Chief Information Officer Brodgon held other positions with Wiregrass, Valdosta Technical College, and the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG). They include; Executive Director of Student Affairs, Systems Analyst with TCSG, Financial Aid Director (Valdosta Technical College), Registrar/MIS Director (Valdosta Technical College), and Network Administrator (Valdosta Technical College).  Jarrod has a Bachelor of Computer Information Systems/Management from Park University 2004, Masters of Science Education in Enrollment Management from Capella University 2009, Masters of Science in Internet Technologies at the University of Georgia, expected graduation date 2016. In his role as the Chief Information Officer he will manage the day to day operations of the Information Technology Department.

Wiregrass has four campus locations including Fitzgerald, Douglas, Valdosta, and Sparks. They also operate a satellite office located at Moody AFB.
