The Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Chamber Business Showcase Thursday evening at the Rainwater Conference Center. The event, sponsored by Ashley’s Business Solutions, featured a variety of Chamber members in a business-to-business trade show format. Those in attendance enjoyed great food, vendor product and service samples, and door prizes.

The event is the largest of its kind in the area, attended by more than 350 members of the business community each year. Attendees sampled the offerings of area vendors while trading business cards and building new connections with other businesses and professionals.

Dee Hathcock of Moody Family Housing hoped to expand her public outreach to area businesses. “This event has provided us with a way to announce and inform people that we are no open to the general public. This year, the Showcase has been a huge success!” said Hathcock.

The event was open to the entire business community. Business owner, Otis Hill took advantage of the opportunity to connect himself with other businesses. “I really wanted to see what Valdosta has to offer,” he said. “This event exceeded my expectations.”
