Wilson Eye Center was named the Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce Leading Business of the Week for the week of July 28!

Wilson Eye Center has been serving the Valdosta area for more than 30 years. The business that began with only one doctor and one employee has grown into a multi-doctor office with five doctors and 35 staff members. The business offers a wide range of services to its patients including cataract and glaucoma management, contact lens services, eye exams, emergency eye care, eyePOD (Personal Optical Delivery), diagnosis and treatment of eye disease, and LASIK eye surgery.

Wilson Eye Center considers its longstanding success in the community to be a result of its patient loyalty. According to Heather Gaskins, the practice’s Medical Department Manager, the business strives to make customers its number one priority. “We keep our focus on delivering quality eye care products and services to our patients,” said Gaskins. As a result of their dedication to customer service, the practice has been consistently rewarded by its customers. “Our patients have voted us “Best Eye Care” for 11 years in a row,” said Gaskins. “We have also been nominated for “Best Customer Service” many times. It’s our greatest honor.”

In addition to great customer service, Wilson Eye Center also lends some of its success to its membership with the Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber of Commerce. “The Chamber keeps our business linked to other business professionals in our area,” said Gaskins of the Chamber’s contribution to the Valdosta area. “Our Chamber strives to keep our business community growing.”
