The Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber Ambassadors joined Digital Express Wireless to cut the ribbon at its new location on Friday. “It went really well,” said office manager, Britney Hurst. “We had a great turn out and got to speak with a lot of people who aren’t familiar with the business.”

Digital Express Wireless, originally located on North Ashley Street, began serving the Valdosta community in June of 2010. The business’s new site on Inner Perimeter Road is a prime location for business. Rather than making a trip across town to the Verizon store on St. Augustine Road, residents of North Valdosta can now receive the same services closer to home. The business’s daily revenue has tripled since its relocation and grand opening on June 23^rd. As Verizon’s premium retailer, Digital Express Wireless specializes in cell phones and accessories, cellular and home phone services, tablets, internet services and more.

Hurst believes one of the business’s best attributes is customer service. “We pride ourselves on customer service,” said Hurst. “We’re a local business so we treat our customers like people, not numbers. We care about your business and want to do whatever is necessary to keep it.” In addition, the business employs local students. “Several of our locations employ Wiregrass students,” said Hurst, noting the connection to the community. “We try to stay involved and grow with our community.”
