Wiregrass Georgia Technical College president Dr. Tina K. Anderson announced the appointment of two new board officers at the June meeting of the college board of directors.  Florence Staten of Statenville elected as the Board Chair.  She is in her third term and is employed as the Coordinator of Echols County Family Connections.  Warren M. Manley of Fitzgerald was elected as Vice Chair. Mr. Manly is currently serving his first term and is a community leader in Ben Hill County. 

The following board members were reappointed for their third term, Florence Staten (Echols County), 2008-2017, Hal Wiley (Ben Hill County), 2008-2017, and Terrell Jacobs (Coffee County), 2008-2017.  Dr. Tina K. Anderson shared, “I am looking forward to working even closer with both our new board chair, Florence Staten and new board vice chair, Warren Manley.  All of our board members give of their time to serve our students, faculty and staff and help us in living out our mission of providing a qualified workforce to the communities we represent.”
