First State Bank and Trust Co. and Fresh Beginnings & ELEAD1ONE present the 2014 World Class Employee Recognition Breakfast. Approximately 350 business leaders will meet at the Rainwater Conference Center from 7:30 to 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6 for the event. Keynote speaker, Dr. Dacia Charlesworth, Valdosta State University Ambassador, will speak on communication strategy for motivating employees.

Awards for World Class Employee Recognition include the following categories: small business employee, small business supervisor, large business employee and large business supervisor. The winner for each division is determined by interviews with a panel of judges from the business community.

Candidates for these awards display exemplary work ethic and contribution to the community. Each winner is awarded $1,500. There were 28 nominees submitted this year, with 24 advancing as finalists.
