“Seeing our graduates consistently find jobs in their field of study upon graduation reinforces that we are providing programs that fit the economic needs of our service area. Our mission for the past 50 years has been workforce development. Every program we currently have and every program we are looking to add to our academic offerings is evaluated closely to make sure we are providing the right education and training for the businesses and industries located in each of our communities,” stated Dr. Tina K. Anderson, Wiregrass President.
Wiregrass Georgia Technical College provides career services to all current students and graduates. Wiregrass also guarantees that graduates meet or exceed program competency levels as defined by the Technical College System of Georgia. This guarantee is in effect for two years after a student graduates. If an employer feels that a graduate of Wiregrass does not meet program competency levels upon hiring them, they may contact the college to retrain the graduate at no cost to the employer or the graduate.
