Chamber Hosts Education and Workforce Development Summit

The Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber, along with the Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education, will host a regional education and workforce development summit titled “Strengthening the Workforce Pipeline” on Wednesday, September 25, from 10 – 11:30 a.m. at the Valdosta City Hall Annex.

The goal of this summit is to drive home the message that quality education is the critical component to creating a workforce that will attract quality jobs and thereby improve the economic climate in LowndesCounty.

Participants are asked to register online by Monday, September 23. This event is free to the public.

Valdosta State University and Wiregrass Georgia Technical College also will be co-hosting and participating in this summit.
