Don your red, white and blue, voting time is just around the corner! The Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber, the Home Builders Association of South Georgia and the Valdosta Board of Realtors are celebrating election season by hosting a “Meet The Candidates” event on Tuesday, October 1, from 5 – 7 p.m. at Valdosta State University’s Continuing Education Building, located at 903 Patterson Street.

This event allows the public the opportunity to meet and hear from candidates running in the November 5 elections. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with the candidates and hear a short speech from each.

“The election is quickly approaching and it is important to know who is on the ballot and their stance on key issues,” said Ron Borders (Real Living Realty Advisors), Chair of the Chamber’s Government Affairs Council. “This event provides a way for the public to have personal interaction with the future decision-makers of our community.”
