The Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Nashville-Berrien Rotary Club, Valdosta Rotary Club and the Valdosta-North Rotary Club, will host a luncheon featuring U.S. Representative Austin Scott next Wednesday, September 4, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Rainwater Conference Center. Special guest Congressman Scott will speak on legislative issues facing the state and the nation, paying close attention to those affecting local businesses.

Scott was elected in 2010 and is currently serving a second term as the U.S. Representative for Georgia’s Eighth Congressional District, which includes the cities of Tifton, Warner Robins, Thomasville, Moultrieand parts of Macon and Valdosta.
