Friday, July 12th, 2013
The Fairfield Inn & Suites Valdosta joins the world's top 10% of businesses for traveler feedback this year by being awarded TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence 2013.
While this is the first time the hotel near Wild Adventure has been recognized with the award, the property has always been committed to its guests. "The hotel won this award by achieving outstanding reviews from our guests based upon their actual stay experience," Tammie Taylor, Vice President of Operations of Peachtree Hotel Group, the property's ownership and management group, says. "The team's commitment to guest satisfaction, superior product and extraordinary service are demonstrated by receiving 94.8% of reviews as Very Good to Excellent ratings, which equates to 55 out of 58 reviews."
TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence is now in its third year, honoring hospitality businesses "that consistently achieve outstanding traveler reviews on TripAdvisor." To qualify for the award, this Valdosta lodging had to "maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travelers on TripAdvisor. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months."
The personable service and look and feel of the hotel are part of what make this Valdosta hotel a hit, according to Mason Caracciolo, General Manager. "It is different than most Fairfield Inn & Suites guests have experienced."
Of course, it's not just positive comments that deserve attention. "Our hotel realizes how important guest feedback is, and feels that TripAdvisor is a great tool for us to use in order to improve," Caracciolo says. "Of course we love to hear the good comments, but we also listen to critique and use it to become better. With TripAdvisor and social media, we feel that our guests' voices can be heard, and we want to make those guests happy."
