Violations: Sanitizer bucket with sanitizer well above allowed strength. Cold water not provided at front employee handwash sink.
April 4th
Kentucky Fried Chicken (1207 N. Ashley St) Score: 96 A
Violations: Observed soiled can opener. Observed soiled soda dispensing spouts and sliight mold in ice maker.
Dairy Queen (701 N. Ashley St) Score: 96 A
Violations: Observed sliced turkey and diced tomatoes stored uncovered in cold holding unit.
April 5th
McDonalds (7207 Lakes Blvd - Lake Park) Score: 100 A
Violations: None
April 10th
Great Wall Restaurant (2908 N. Ashley St) Score: 71 C
Violations: Employee observed handling trash then cooking with washing hands first. Open employee cups, meals and tobacco products observed in the kitchen next to foods beiong prepared for customer meals. Hand sinks were blocked with towels, dishes, trays and cleaners at time of inspection. Food observed being prepared in outside corridor next to broom closet and entrance to restaurant. Observed raw shrimp over vegetables in the walk-in cooler. Foods like fish, shrimnp, vegeables, and meat were not covered in the freezer. Knives and plates were observed soiled to the sight and touch. Items from lunch wree used to serve both raw beef and chicken without being properly cleaned and sanitized between each service. Improper cooling methods observed in use. Items were being stacked 10-12" high, wrapped in plastic then placed in the cooler to cool at 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
