Georgia 6th in Number of Economic Development Projects in 2012

Georgia continues to be among the best places for economic development projects, according to Site Selection magazine’s ranking of states with economic development projects. Georgia had 296 economic development projects in 2012 and has had 781 from 2010-2012, the magazine noted.
Georgia ranked 6th in the state by state rankings, and #1 in the South Atlantic Region. Texas was 1st overall with 796 projects.
