Chamber Accepting Nominations for Annual Chamber Choice Awards

Citizens Community Bank and the Chamber are excited to announce the highly anticipated 4th Annual Chamber Choice Awards the evening of March 21 at the James H. Rainwater Conference Center. The festivities will begin with cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres at 6:30, followed with the awards presentations. This red carpet event will honor those who stood out and made a difference in our community in 2012, while also providing attendees the opportunity to network with area business leaders.
The area’s most outstanding, influential businesses and Chamber volunteers will be recognized to acknowledge the valuable roles they play in shaping the progress and prosperity of our community. At this year’s ceremony we will present the BIG Thinker Award, the Small Business of the Year, the Manufacturer of the Year, the Ambassador of the Year, the Young Professional of the Year and the Members’ Choice Award.
One of Valdosta-Lowndes County’s leading and innovative small businesses will be presented with the Small Business of the Year Award. Qualifying nominees must have 100 employees or less, while exhibiting growth and stability in the business community.
The Manufacturer of the Year will be awarded for making its significant impact on the economy, exceptional corporate citizenship and workplace excellence throughout the year.
One privileged Chamber Ambassador will be honored for demonstrating outstanding volunteer support, donating numerous hours of service and assisting with multiple Chamber initiatives.
One of the community’s young professionals will be recognized for making a significant impact on his or her business’s bottom-line.
The esteemed Members’ Choice Award winner will be selected by his or her peers based on dedication to quality, customer/client services and courtesy within the community.
The BIG Thinker Award will be chosen from one of the area’s most notable, self-made visionaries. This award is based on entrepreneurial success and an expression of devotion to the community.
This year’s seating will be open to members and non-members alike. All members’ nominations and any reservations should be made through the Chamber at www.ValdostaChamber.com. Make sure to register for this red carpet event before it is too late, as available space will be filling up quickly! Cocktail attire and pre-registration are required for this special evening. Registration is $30 for individuals or $300 for a corporate table of ten.
