The Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber is hosting its 101^st Annual Membership Meeting, presented by Georgia Power and Prince Automotive, on Tuesday, Jan. 29 at the Rainwater Conference Center from noon-1:30 p.m.

This year’s event will feature a video documentary of the Chamber’s IMPACT 2012 program. This five-year initiative focused on five areas of growth to help stimulate and change the face of the local economy: targeted business expansion, entrepreneur and small business development, enhancement of pro-business environment, attraction of amenity-seeking retirees and workforce development and education. The documentary will serve as a final report to shareholders on the outcomes of the program.

The Chamber will award its annual A.L. Girardin Award to a Chamber member who has contributed to the Chamber’s success in 2012. Attendees will also hear from new Chamber leadership regarding plans and goals for the new year.
