Prince Automotive Named Leading Business by the Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber
Staff Report From Valdosta CEO
Tuesday, October 23rd, 2012
This week Prince Automotive of Valdosta was named the “Leading Business of the Week!” This award is randomly presented to a member in good standing with at least five years of Chamber Membership. The selected member will display the banner, which is sponsored by Tim Coombs, Coombs Heating & Air Conditioning, for a week.
"As far as awards go, winning the Georgia Family Business of the Year is probably the highlight. We received this award from the Coles Business College of Kennesaw State University and were honored by Georgia Trend Magazine. More recently, we were name a Bulldog 100 for being one of the fastest growing businesses owned by a University of Georgia graduate."
"However, I would say that one of our biggest accomplishments would be that we have weathered this current economic downturn and in fact have actually grown our dealership during this time. That says a lot about our employees and our committment to the communitities in which we serve."
"What sets us apart from other businesses with similiar services is our committment to customer service and exceeding our customer's expectations. We are a third generation family owned business that truly cares about our employees and our customers. By being in business for nearly 50 years, we sell the same customer over and over so we know it is important to take good care of them. We also believe in giving back to our community and do so by serving in many leadership roles."
"The Chamber, through its many programs, gives you so many opportunities to enhance your business. From business seminars to Business After Hours to sponsorship opportunities, there are so many different events and services they provide that give your business exposure that you normally wouldn't have. The Chamber helps so many small businesses, like mine, through its pro-business agenda.
"Being actively involved in the Chamber, I see firsthand how our Chamber influences our community through its pro-business agenda. Our Chamber is involved in many different aspects but the Government Affairs and SEEDS Business Resource Center are just two that help small businesses in our community. The Chamber truly wants to enhance our community.
