Edward Jones Financial Advisor Michael Meeks was named the Ambassador of the Quarter by the Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber.
 
Meeks, serving his second year as an Ambassador, received the award after volunteering the most hours at Chamber events and programs over the past four months.
 
“As an Ambassador for the Chamber, it is important to show support for new businesses as well as established organizations here in Valdosta,” said Meeks. “I believe that developing personal relationships between businesses and the citizens of Lowndes County play a key role in the strength of our local economy.”
 
Chamber Ambassadors are professionals from local businesses who serve as the public relations arm of the Chamber, aiding in welcoming new businesses to the area. They can be recognized by their green jackets which symbolize prosperity, something they wish for every business in the community.
