Delta Adds Extra Flight for Georgia vs. Missouri Game

Delta Air Lines will be adding an extra flight for this weekends SEC opener when the University of Georgia opens SEC play against Mizzou.
The flight between Atlanta and Columbia, Missouri will only for be for this coming weekend.
Delta spokesman Trebor Banstetter says Delta often adds flights to accommodate big sporting events.
“They’re a lot of fun, actually, to be on," says Banstetter. "The planes tend to be mostly filled with people who are flying for that specific event. You’ll see a lot of your fellow fans if you’re on these flights."
Its an expensive flight, however. A check on flights Monday showed with just a few seats left, round-trip coach fares ranged from $450 to $1,400.
Some people are chooing to drive - the route is about 12-hours each way. AAA estimates fuel for driving the round-trip journey would cost about $250, depending on the vehicle used.
