Employees Have Confidence in Their Paychecks

Everyone's favorite day of the week—payday—just received rave reviews from thousands of American employees. Ninety percent of employees are confident their paycheck is accurate,according to the 2011 "Getting Paid In America" survey recently conducted by the American Payroll Association.

The "Getting Paid In America" survey asked "How certain are you that your payroll withholding and the net amount of your paycheck are correct each payday?" More than 26,000 of the more than 29,000 survey participants indicated they are very confident or confident their paycheck is correct each payday.

The "Getting Paid In America" survey coincides with APA's annual public awareness campaign National Payroll Week (NPW), held annually during the week ofLabor Day. More than 29,000 employees responded to the survey, providing insight into how employees are paid in America.
