Georgia-Based Crawford & Company Acquires ClaimHub

Crawford & Company, the world's largest independent provider of claims management solutions, has acquired the assets of ClaimHub Inc., a leading provider of claims workflow solutions for the property and casualty insurance market.

"We believe ClaimHub's technology will allow us to expand our product offering and further enhance our ability to interface with clients."

ClaimHub's current staff has been offered positions at Crawford and will continue to develop advanced claim technology and service existing ClaimHub clients, said Kevin Frawley, chief executive officer, Property & Casualty – Americas. "The ClaimHub team brings many years of development experience to Crawford and will be an exceptional addition as we seek to grow Vehicle Services," Frawley said.

ClaimHub, established in 2000 and based in Overland Park, Kan., provides a web-based, centralized claims platform for dispatching, tracking and managing all assignments and work product involved in the auto claims process. Crawford's current vehicle claim platform,VTech™, is a ClaimHub product.

Crawford's nationwide vehicle claim services include damage appraisal for autos, heavy equipment, recreational watercraft, recreational vehicles and motorcycles, and condition inspections for a variety of vehicles, including leased and fleet autos and heavy equipment.

As part of its recent investment in Vehicle Services, in the past 18 months the Company has launched a centralized claims center, Vehicle Services Connection, for claim intake, damage assessment and oversight of complex losses; an enhanced, credentialed appraiser network; and a comprehensive managed repair network for cars and heavy equipment.
