Kevin Greiner: A Business Leader Investing in Georgia’s Future
Tuesday, February 11th, 2025
Kevin Greiner, CEO of Gas South, believes in using business as a force for good. His company commits 5% of its profits to support youth in need, and when he learned about the Fostering Success Act, getting involved was an easy decision.
“When I heard about FSA and the opportunity to be able to support foster youth who are aging out of the system with contributions to pursue their postsecondary education… we said it’s a no-brainer. Let’s do it.”
Each year, approximately 700 young people age out of foster care in Georgia, many with limited resources and little support.
“Fostering Success Act for the first time created a mechanism where kids can access the type of support that they need,” Kevin explains. By redirecting tax dollars that businesses are already paying, companies can fund essentials like housing, education, and job training—critical resources that help change lives, shift trajectories, and build a stronger workforce for Georgia.
Kevin challenges fellow executives to see the potential impact of their involvement in FSA, and urges them to take part in this meaningful, cost-free way to give back.
