Valdosta Elected Officials Receive Recognition at GMA Cities United Summit

During the Georgia Municipal Association's (GMA) Cities United Summit, held January 24-27, 2020 in Atlanta, Valdosta Councilmembers Vivian Miller-Cody and Sandra Tooley received prestigious certificates from the Harold F. Holtz Municipal Training Institute.
Councilwoman Tooley received the Certificate of Distinction for completing 204 hours of training. Councilwoman Miller-Cody received the Certificate of Excellence for completing 120 hours of training and graduated from the Robert E. Knox, Jr. Municipal Leadership Institute.
"We are proud of Councilwoman Miller-Cody and Councilwoman Tooley for their outstanding achievements. These recognitions show their dedication to serving the citizens of Valdosta," said City Manager Mark Barber.
