UGA SBDC at VSU Offers Workshop in Online Version of QuickBooks April 9th

The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center at Valdosta State University will present QuickBooks Online: Conquering Your Fears from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9.
Registration for this workshop is $169 per person.
Sponsored by Guardian Bank, QuickBooks Online: Conquering Your Fears will introduce area small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to one of the most popular accounting software programs allowing users to access data anytime, anywhere. This workshop will provide participants a practical, hands-on approach to learning the features and functions available to QuickBooks users through the Internet.
Using case studies in a computer lab environment, workshop participants will have an opportunity to access QuickBooks Online and learn how to set up a new company file, create product and service items, manage the chart of accounts, add customer and vendor profiles, process daily transactions, electronically download bank transactions, view reports, and much more.
Headquartered in Athens, the Small Business Development Center is a partnership between the University of Georgia, Valdosta State University, the University of West Georgia, Georgia State University, Georgia Southern University, Clayton State University, and Kennesaw State University. It is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the United States Small Business Administration, boasts 17 offices across the state, and strives to enhance the economic well-being of Georgians by providing a wide range of educational services for small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs, including no-cost, confidential consulting services.
