Taylor Insurance Services CEO, Trey Taylor, was named to the Board of Trustees for the Conservative Policy Leadership Institute.

“I’m excited to join the CPLI Board and have the opportunity to help shape individuals to lead public-policy debates centered around conservative thought,” states Trey Taylor, CEO of Taylor Insurance Services.

"Trey's experience in running both successful businesses and nonprofits, in addition to his strong fiscal conservatism, made him an ideal candidate for our organization," says Sarah Douglas, CPLI executive director.

The announcement was made after the CPLI Executive Committee voted unanimously to appoint Trey to a three year term starting in January 2017. CPLI is a non-partisan educational organization in Georgia that trains leaders on public-policy debate and governance based on conservative principles and values. It has graduated six classes since 2011.

Trey will bring a wealth of knowledge to the Board with his management experience from major corporations like WebMD, EarthLink, and AOL/Time Warner, and role with startups like Azalea Health Innovations, AgencySpotter, and SealShield. A nod to his contribution to the success of these and other organizations, Trey was named one of Georgia Trend’s 40 Under 40 in 2013. And, Taylor Insurance Services was named Small Business of the Year by Valdosta and Lowndes County Chamber in 2016.
