    The Georgia Department of Labor announced today that Metro Valdosta’s unemployment rate for July was 5.4 percent, down three-tenths of a percentage point from 5.7 percent in June. The rate in July 2015 was 6.6 percent.

    Arthur L. Slotkin, the Georgia District Director of the SCORE Association announced the establishment of a new branch of the SCORE Association in Valdosta, Georgia today.
