Valdosta State University Campus Recreation and Campus Wellness will host the 10th Annual 5K Blazer Dash on Saturday, Aug. 29, at the VSU Student Recreation Center.
 
Race day registration begins at 6 a.m. The 5K race will begin at 7 a.m. and the Youth Splash one-mile fun run will begin at 8 a.m. in front of the VSU Student Recreation Center located on Sustella Avenue.
 
Advance registration is $15 for participants if registered by Aug. 14. Regular registration is $20. Registration on the day of the event is an additional $5. Team registration is available and ghost runner donations are welcome. All participants will receive a T-shirt if registered by Aug. 14. Sponsorship opportunities for the event are available. Sponsors who donate between $100 and $500 will have their name and company logo printed on the Blazer Dash T-shirt, one-mile marker sign, all social media networks promoting the event, and the VSU Campus Wellness and Campus Recreation websites.
 
Proceeds from the event will support VSU Campus Wellness and student development within Campus Recreation.
