Transcript:

My name is Ryan Williams and I am a partner and vice president with Nexxtep Technology Services based in Valdosta, Georgia.  We are a technology outsourcing and technology consulting firm.

Two common ailments that we find most businesses, if not all businesses, suffer from one degree to another is that of lack of communication and lack of execution.  So Nexxtep has developed a tool that we’ve named “Process Plan”.  It can be found at www.processplan.com.  And what this tool allows businesses to do is to map out the way that they want every business process in the organization to function, or some people use the term workflow.

And what this tool does is it allows an organization to step-by-step -- an example of that might be that we can set up the system to monitor accounts receivable in your accounting system and when a certain – or when an organization or a customer, if their accounts receivable balance extends past say 90 days, we can have that automatically kick off a Process Plan workflow to do the A/R recovery for that customer.

One of the things that I’m a huge proponent of when it comes to businesses is managing your business by exception instead of by brute force, and Process Plan goes a long way to accomplish that goal because now business workflow and business processes will be executed almost in a hands-free manner without the business owner or manager having to get involved unless the process does not execute or if someone does not do the task that they were assigned to do, then the system will automatically notify the owner or the manager that the process did not happen the way it was designed, and then the manager or owner can get involved as opposed to the business owner having to constantly monitor and assess situations and ask questions and dig in for more information.  Basically, the business will run almost autonomously with the system set up properly.
