Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia Announces Executive Changes

KIA Motors Manufacturing Georgia announced a number of executive changes, effective immediately.

Stuart Countess

Stuart Countess has been named the Sr. Vice President & Chief Operations Officer, overseeing Production Operations of the facility. Countess was hired as the Sr. Manager/HOD of Assembly for KMMG in 2007, and then subsequently served as Director and Vice President of Quality before assuming the Chief Administrative Officer role in 2016.  He previously held various management positions with Mercedes Benz U.S. International before moving to KMMG.

Chris Miller

Chris Miller has been named the Vice President & Chief Administrative Officer, replacing Countess. Miller was hired as the Manager of the KMMG Production Control Department in 2008, and has served as the Director of Production and Director of Production Support from 2012. Miller managed aftermarket service parts operations at Mitsubishi and Mercedes Benz U.S. International prior to KMMG.

KMMG President and CEO, Jangsoo (Jason) Shin said, “The changes announced today reflect KMMG’s efforts in the localization of its management team as we prepare for our next ten years of operation.”
